A few weeks ago we had the chance to spend the day at SeaWorld San Antonio with our girls and we had the BEST time! My twins are 4 years old and my youngest is 19 months and the park had plenty to keep all ages entertained (including us adults who definitely took turns riding the roller coasters). The park is the perfect size to keep you engaged without being overwhelming and everything was extremely clean. They had a ton of food and drink options (including adult beverages for the parents #cheers), and plenty of shade and places to sit down and rest.
It was so much fun to watch the wonder and amazement in their eyes at each of the shows. Adalyn’s favorite was the sea lion shows and Emery loved Shamu (and Mommy’s favorite was the beluga whales). Make sure you don’t miss their newest attraction: Turtle Reef!
They have an AMAZING Sesame Street themed kids area with tons of kids rides, a huge splash pad area, play scape, and changing rooms! The girls absolute favorite was the carousel but they were actually brave enough to do several of the rides and enjoyed them all.
Because it’s Texas, it has started to get HOT. We let the kids run around in the Splash Pad and it was so nice to cool off. We only spent one day there this time but if you have time, you can also check out SeaWorld’s own water park called Aquatica to help you beat the heat this Summer.
AND, did you know that you can get SeaWorld tickets right at your neighborhood H-E-B!? You can find them with the gift cards or in the checkout lanes. Not only is that super convenient, but you also get special discounted prices by purchasing your tickets at H-E-B! They have one day SeaWorld tickets and two day SeaWorld and Aquatica tickets and you can save up to $20 off.
Here are a few tips I would suggest after going:
Bring a stroller, we were sooo glad we had both of our strollers.
Bring a swimsuit and a change of clothes (even if you’re not doing the water park, the kids will definitely want to do the splash pad).
Bring plenty of water, we were able to bring in the kids water bottles with no problems.
Plan out the shows you want to go to ahead of time (they are posted on the website).
So pick a day, load up the kiddos, and head to SeaWorld! You will not regret it and your family will have memories for a lifetime. As we were leaving the park at the end of the day the girls were already asking me “Mommy can we come back to SeaWorld again?” I’m sure we will be back before we know it!
